About the AWI Coating AI Tool
The AWI Coating AI Tool is designed to help you model and analyze optical coating designs with multiple layers. These layers control transmittance, reflectance, and absorbance to optimize your design.
Steps to Create a New Design
Step 1: Explore Materials
Check out the available materials or upload your own material in CSV format. The file should have three columns: wavelength, n, k.
Step 2: Set Up Environment
Enter parameters like start and end wavelength and incoherence. Load existing designs if required.
Step 3: Build Your Design
Add front or back layers, choose materials, and set thicknesses. Click Calculate to see results or Create Stack to visualize.
Step 4: Interactive Simulation
Experiment with thickness changes and apply them to your design. Save your design as public or private.
